Mycology & Plant Pathology

At the mycology and pathology laboratories of IITA in 2014, I worked on diagnosing and characterizing fungi Aspergillus Spp from soil and food crops from different countries. This was to support the then-ongoing production of Aspergillus spp (aflatoxin) biocontrol called Aflasafe. Aspergillus culture in microbiology,  Extraction, partition chromatography and HPTLC for species identification were the applied techniques.
